The Lifelong Urban Learner is a blog focused on the education and professional development of those who would like to improve their learning/studying ability, those looking for ways to grow beyond a traditional high school or college degree, and those who are interested in becoming strong self-learners. Although the content we share can be used by people from any background, we focus primarily on the “Urban/African-American” niche. The primary author and founder of The Lifelong Urban Learner is not a traditional teacher–however he is an instructor who teaches disaster preparedness, has an A.A.S in Emergency Management, and is pursuing a B.A. in Political Science. More importantly, he has 20 plus years’ experience in being an African-American and Urban Learner.
